Yamaha has launched a multi-zone network receiver that upscales to 1080p via HDMI, streams audio files and Internet radio, and can output video to two screens at once.
In addition, the RX-V2065 can stream thousands of internet radio stations from across the globe in MP3 or WMA format via its built-in Ethernet port. Users can also access WAV, WMA, FLAC, AAC, MP3 or WMA music stored on any local PC.
The RX-V2065 comes with five HDMI inputs and two simultaneous HDMI outputs, allowing users to feed 1080p video to two screens at once. It also has three independent zones so that each user can enjoy their own music sources at the same time.
Also featured in this new receiver is a 3D DSP mode that activates the front presence speakers, offering a full front sound stage. The RX-2065 is rated at 7x130W with low distortion rates of 0.06% at 8ohms over the full frequency range of 20Hz-20kHz.
The RX-V2065 is available starting this month for $2,499.
