NAB is introducing Google Pay to its banking services, however Apple users are frustrated as the Aussie bank still has not done anything about Apple Pay.

To use, add a debit or credit card into the Google Pay app and pay where ever touchless payments are available. Google Pay can also be used online wherever the Google Pay logo is apparent.

Twitter user Brett Brooks commented on the above tweet asking for NAB to partner with Apple Pay with a spokesperson replying, “Hi Brett, we continue to look at all options to provide our customers with access to safe and secure ways to make digital payments, and to provide choice to customers no matter what device they own. ^CJ”

The spokesperson replies to another Tweet asking for Apple Pay claiming the tech giant “won’t allow us to put our app on their devices”.

Instead of Apple Pay, NAB offers its Apple customers a Paytag where they pay $3.99 for a tag that goes on the back of their iPhone.

NAB competitor ANZ has had Apple Pay for close to two years with Apple Pay being officially launched in 2015.

Commonwealth Bank is also in the same league with NAB only offering Apple customers a PayTag for a fee. Westpac also has no way for its Apple customers to pay with their phones or wearables but does offer Google Pay.

NAB customers are able to access Google Pay on their compatible devices.
