The global rollout of the Nexus 5X smartphone is underway, with LG advising its latest collaborative effort with Google is now on sale in key markets and will be landing in additional markets over the next few weeks.The Nexus 5X, LG’s third collaborative effort with Google, was unveiled last month along with the Nexus 6P (built by Google in collaboration with Huawei), with LG today advising the Nexus 5X is now on sale in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, India, Korea and Japan.
Additional markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America are set to see the rollout of the Nexus 5X in the weeks to come.
The first smartphone to market running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Nexus 5X sports a full-HD IPS (1920 x 1080) display, is powered by a 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, and comes with 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM and internal storage of either 16 or 32 GB.
The Nexus 5X sports a 12.3 MP main camera and 5 MP front camera, and is equipped with a USB Type-C port for fast charging and a new fingerprint sensor, Nexus Imprint, designed for quick and secure phone access.
