Nikon Australia has advised that the Nikon D750 and Nikon Df DSLR cameras, along with the Nikon 1 V3 interchangeable lens camera, have been recognised in the product category of the iF Design Award 2015.The annual awards, based out of Germany, are held across a number of categories, from product and packaging through to communication, with the D750, Df and V3 having been recognised for their respective design quality.
The 24.3 MP D750 is equipped with a new Nikon FX-format CMOS image sensor and Expeed 4 image-processing engine, housed in an “agile, lightweight and slim body”, and is the first Nikon FX-format camera with a tilting LCD monitor and built-in Wi-Fi functionality.
The 16.2 MP portable, compact and lightweight Df is equipped with a Nikon FX-format CMOS image sensor and an Expeed 3 image-processing engine, while the lightweight 18.4 MP V3 features a high-speed continuous shooting rate of approximately 20 fps with autofocus tracking, built-in Wi-Fi, a tilting LCD monitor and a touch-screen panel.
The iF Design Award 2015 saw 4,783 entries by 2,102 participants from 53 countries, with a 53 member-strong jury comprised of international experts determining the winners.
