Nikon’s D600 will be gracing shop shelves tomorrow, the 18th of September, in Australia.
The DSLR camera houses a 24.3 MP sensor and the Expeed 3 processing engine into the smallest and lightest body touted by any Nikon FX-format camera.
It measures approximately 141x113x82 (WxHxD) and its body alone weighs 760 grams.
Despite the smaller body, it’ still a performing DSLR with an ISO range of 100 to 6,400 (25,600 max), an autofocus sensor that tracks the subject with 39 focus points, dual SD memory card slots and a 3.2 inch, 921k screen.
Photographers looking to capture changing landscape will value its time-lapse photography function and its ability to record videos in Full HD (1920×1080/30p) recording. A clever addition is the headphone jack which allows photographers to check the audio soundtrack right from the camera.
