Nikon has today unveiled a new camera that comes with a built-in projector to display images on a flat wall. The Coolpix S1100pj offers brighter projection and a larger touch screen monitor than its predecessor and also comes with PC input enabling instant projection of computer data

Nikon says that it was able to increase projection brightness by 40 percent compared to its predecessor, the COOLPIX S1000pj. In addition, the S1100pj features a 3-inch TFT LCD touch screen monitor enabling intuitive camera operation.
With a touch of a button, the camera projects data, photos or movie clips on any flat surface at up to 47 inches in size.
Pictures can be projected individually, or as slide shows complete with music and added effects that enhance the experience.
The Nikon Coolpix S1100PJ is available in silver and black for $499.
