Nikon has added seven new digital cameras to its Coolpix range. The new line-up includes a Performance Series camera, four Style Series cameras, and two Life Series cameras.

The Nikon COOLPIX P100 features a 10.3-megapixel sensor, 26x zoom (26-676mm), 3-inch Vari-angle LCD, PSAM Modes, 1080p HD Movie Mode with stereo sound, 17 Scene Modes, Smart Portrait System with Skin Softening, as well as five image stabilising features. It is available in black for $599.

Coolpix S8000 |
The Style Series range sees the introduction of the COOLPIX S3000, S4000, S6000 and S8000. The combination of slim designs, various colour options, and innovative technologies makes the S Series perfect for consumers seeking stylish, feature rich compact cameras at an affordable price.
The Coolpix S3000 features the following: 12MP sensor, 4x zoom (27-108mm), 2.7-inch LCD, Smart Portrait System, Blink Proof, Face Priority, 16 scene modes, Scene Auto Selector, 4-way VR image Stabilisation, and Movie Mode. It is available in silver, black, red, purple, and magenta for $199.
The Coolpix S4000 features a 12MP sensor, 4x zoom (27-108mm), 3-inch 460k-dot Touch Screen LCD, High-Definition 720p Movie Mode, Smart Portrait System, Subject Tracking, and 4-way image Stabilisation. It is available in black or red for $299.
The Coolpix S6000 offers 7x zoom and comes with a 14.2-megapixel sensor, 2.7-inch LCD, Advanced Motion Detection, VR image Stabilisation, ultra-fast start-up time (0.7 seconds), and High Definition 720p Movie Mode. It is available in red for $399.
The Coolpix S8000 has a 10x optical zoom, 14.2-megapixel sensor, 3-inch 960k-dot LCD with clear colour display, Creative Slider, High-Definition 720p Movie Mode, Quick Retouch, and VR image Stabilisation. It is available in black for $499.

In addition to the Performance and Style Series of cameras, Nikon has also launched two new easy-to-use cameras that come with an easy auto mode and smart portrait system.
The Coolpix L110 offer 15x zoom, has a 12.1-megapixel sensor, 3-inch LCD, High-Definition 720p Movie Mode, Sport Continuous Mode, Easy Auto Mode, Smart Portrait System, and 15 Scene Modes, while the L22 offers a 12-megapixel sensor, 3.6x zoom (37-134mm), 3-inch LCD, Movie Mode, Easy Auto Mode, Electronic VR image Stabilisation, Smart Portrait System, and 16 scene modes.
The L110 and L22 run on AA batteries and are available now for $399 and $149, respectively.
