Prices for the Nintendo 3DS’ predecessors are set to drop by $50 in Australia and New Zealand.So far only confirmed for Australia and NZ, the Nintendo DSi and DSi XL handheld consoles will drop in retail price as the 3DS sits as the company’s flagship handheld console.
Starting from June 30, the DSi will drop for $249.95 to $199.95, while the larger DSi XL drops from $299.95 to $249.95.
Meanwhile, the 3DS handheld is still around $100 cheaper in the US compared to Australia’s current price, and a DSi can be picked up for around $150 at American retailers.
