The popular Nintendo DS portable gaming device is kicking on, with Nintendo launching a new title for the device: More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima.

The company says the DS continues to bring a great deal of new players, young and old, male and female to the industry, stating that Nintendo Australia alone has sold over 400,000 Touch! Generations’ titles, of which More Brain Training is the latest.

This title is the sequel to Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? and offers download multiplayer functions so you can play against up to 16 players.

More Brain Training exercises include Memorise 5 x 5, Speedy Symbols, Correct Change, Days Missing Symbols, Masterpiece Recital or the classic Rock, Paper, Scissors that features voice recognition and Sudoku.

“Whether you’re young or old, a long term gamer or have never picked up a video game in your life – ‘Touch! Generations’ is a perfect way to enjoy the world of video gaming”, explains Nintendo’s Rose Lappin.

“The nintendogs series has done wonders in reaching the younger female audience. The Brain Training series has certainly extended our appeal beyond the traditional gaming audience,” she added.
