According to Nintendo, up to four players can join in the fun, with users being able to use their Mii character.
For example, the Hide ‘n’ Hunt game will have a user rummaging through cupboards and peering under the sofa as you desperately search for the hidden Wii Remote(s) before time runs out. Another party game called tackle the Time Bomb game will test a user to see if he/she can keep a steady hand as the ticking Wii Remote is being passed.
Wii Party also includes Party Games and Pair Games modes. Within Party Games a user can enjoy the likes of Board Game Island.
“If you’d rather work with another player than against them, Pair Games offer you the opportunity to do just that. As you collaborate in your attempts to balance out a boat or attempt to get a good friendship rating, you’ll need to be on the same wavelength to avoid doubling your troubles,” said the company.
Wii Party will be available on 7 October 2010 as a stand alone game ($79.95) or bundled with a remote ($99.95).
