Nintendo announced that from tomorrow, the Wii console will be available for $299.95. This is $100 off its previous RRP and is the first time the company dropped the price of the said console.

According to sales data collected by Nintendo from retail partner reporting, it has currently sold over 1.79 million Wii consoles in Australia since launch.
The Nintendo Wii comes with white or black and comes with Wii Sports.
Also available 29 April is Monster Hunter Tri for Wii. Monster Hunter Tri comes as a standalone game, or bundled with the new Classic Controller Pro, available in black to match the new black Wii.
“As well as Monster Hunter Tri, Wii has a great back catalogue of games for all ages, from the follow up to the popular Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, to Wii Fit – the biggest selling game two years in a row in 2008 and 2009, the follow up to Wii Fit – Wii Fit Plus, Mario Kart Wii and the classic side scrolling action of New Super Mario Bros. Wii,” said the company.
