Samsung who are basking in the success of Galaxy S 2 smartphone is set to delay the launch of their new S3 model that was tipped for an OZ launch in May 2012.The new smartphone, which will incorporate a new LTE 4G processor with Android 4.0 and a 12-megapixel camera, was set to lo introduced at the World Mobile Congress in Europe next month.
According to the Verge, ‘people familiar with the matter’ have indicated that the Korean giant plans to delay the unveiling until after the WMC.
It is thought that Samsung has chosen to delay the announcement to avoid a long wait for customers hoping to get their hands on the Android device.
A leaked Samsung video featured what appeared to be a Galaxy S3 that is longer-thinner, with a larger edge-to-edge screen.
What is expected at the WMC is a brand new Windows based phone that will take on Nokia Windows smartphones.
