Sony has unveiled two new top-of-the-line Walkmans that feature built-in noise-cancelling technology.
The S700 Series allows you to hear your MP3s with no background noise, Sony claims.
There are two models in the series – the S705, which is a 2GB model, and the S706, a 4GB model.
Noise-cancelling technology has previously only been found in certain headphones. A microphone is used to analyse the surrounding sound. An opposing signal is then output to effectively cancel out a high degree of background noise.
The two units also feature Clear Stereo and Clear BASS technology to improve audio quality.
