The standard version of the Nokia N97 software update 2.0 is available immediately through the PC on the Nokia Software Update website, and will be followed by a wide range of country and operator versions over the coming weeks, as well as the possibility to do the update over-the-air.
Managing director Nokia Australia and New Zealand, Emile Baak, said: “We have listened to consumer feedback about the performance of the N97 and have added new features and functions. The response to the Nokia N97 since its launch has been phenomenal. In September 2009, we exceeded 2 million Nokia N97s sold worldwide and we look forward to the arrival of the Nokia N97 mini in Australia in Q1 2010.”
Nokia mobile users can check for new software by going to Menu > Applications > SW Update and enable automatic checking, or visit http://www.nokia.com/softwareupdate to download the version that is relevant to them.
