Up top is a supposed image of Sony’s Odin smartphone and there’s a lot to like about it. For starters it has a 5 inch screen populated by a Full HD resolution. That’s 1,920 x 1,080 pixels in the palm of your hand and 441 pixels per inch (ppi).
For the record, Apple’s ‘Retina’ iPhone 5 has a 326 ppi density.
The goodies don’t stop there. The Odin will feature 2GB of RAM and be the first Sony smartphone to feature a quadcore processor, specifically a Qualcomm 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro. This delectable package is topped with an Adreno 320 GPU. If tech isn’t your first language, this little beauty has enough computing power to put it at the forefront of the smartphone industry.
The Odin’s camera sensibilities remain unknown but Slashgear report it is running Android Jelly Bean.
Unfortunately the Odin hasn’t been confirmed yet, but if Sony could release a smartphone like this in time, it could see the wayward company return to form.
