Australian’s who own a Nexus 7 tablet can now purchase the complimentary charging dock from Google’s Play store.

The Nexus 7 Dock charges the tab horizontally at the “optimum viewing” so users can continue watching movies and videos in comfort. A 3.5mm audio jack makes it possible to share the sound with external speakers, but alas, don’t expect to share the picture with your television as the Nexus 7 doesn’t support HDMI out.

The dock’s polished exterior gives it plenty of charm and a rubberised base ensures a firm grip.

In Australia, the Nexus 7 dock is selling for $49.95 in Google’s Play store and will ship within 1-2 weeks.
