Durex showcases new technology in Australia which promises to keeps couples ‘in touch’ even when they’re apart.
Durex Fundawear allows a personal touch to be sent from a smartphone app to your lovers underwear.
Fundawear is a prototype technology that allows physical touch to be transferred wirelessly between couples and recreated on their skin, following months of development in Australia by condom king Durex.
It sends real touch from one smartphone to another and from there to mini sensors inside the Fundawear garments, so couples can tease, tickle and tantalise.
The “world first” technology based touching sensation also promises to be very natural.
This technology may give a new future for foreplay, allowing couples to have fun with each other even when apart.
“Fundawear will not only help to replicate touch when a couple can’t physically be together, but also help people laugh, enjoy and have fun with the intimate side of their relationship.
“Instead of a text,email or phone call to let them know you are thinking about them, why not touch them?” says Dr. Nikki Goldstein, Sexologist and Relationship expert.
Durex Marketing Director Chris Tedesco says the condom giant is “excited” about Fundawear.

How it Works?
Fundawear takes touch input from one partner via their touch screen smartphone and sends these signals across the Internet via a special real-time server to their partners’ touch screen device, transferred to the Fundawear where the touch sensation is recreated on the skin.
Snepo Technologies are responsible for the technology behind Fundawear and worked closely with Durex on the project (hmm, how close we wonder?!).
Durex is allowing Australia to put Fundawear to the ultimate test by offering two lucky people the chance to become testers of Fundawear for themselves (and their partners).
