Chinese newcomer has cuddled up to JB Hi-Fi, by quietly launching its new OPPO A3 handset, exclusively to the local retailer for a competitive A$279.
The 6.2-inch device is available in either Red or Dark Purple, and features its ColorOS 5.1 operating system [based on Android 8.1].
Despite its budget-friendly price tag, the A3s offers a notable 4,230mAh battery, pledging 17 hours of battery life.
The smartphone runs on a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 processor, alongside 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
The A3s incorporates a dual rear camera (13MP & 2MP), and 8MP front selfie camera, with artificial intelligence capabilities.
Like other Oppo devices, the Chinese company retains its commitment to included accessories, with the phone including a free case and pre-applied screen protector film in the box.
Whilst facial recognition is supported, the device does not offer NFC for tap-and-go payments.
