Telstra has announced that the OPPO R15 Pro is now available to consumers both in store and online.
Richard Noonan, Telstra’s General Manager of Mobile Devices celebrated the launch, saying “We know many of our customers want affordable smartphone options with the latest software which is why we’re excited to be introducing the R15 Pro, providing our customers with more choice when connecting to Australia’s fastest mobile network.”

The R15 Pro sports a 6.28 inch edge-to-edge display and 1080 x 2280 resolution, giving the phone a screen to body ration of 19:9.
Backed up by 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of on board storage (expandable to 256GB), the R15 Pro is able to support some solid features.
OPPO is bringing AI to this model, which when paired with the 20MP and 16MP rear cameras, can generate depth of field effects as well as responsive shooting modes.
The phone also has NFC enabled and is Google Pay compatible, allowing users to pay with their phones. Paired with a 3430mAh battery, the R15 Pro is a phone tailored for daily use.
Picking up a OPPO R15 Pro in Cosmic Purple will cost $0 on the $79 Mobile Plan (10GB of included data) with a minimum cost of $1,896 for 24 months. Customers have the option to add Peace of Mind Data for $10 per month for no excess data charges in Australia when breachign the data cap. Peace of Mind Data speeds are capped at 1.5Mbps, capable of carrying Standard Definition video. Other limits to speeds, such as using the service during busy periods, may apply.
