After a long wait yes g2 is coming to OZ on Nov 4But will be at Optus and retailers Dick Smith, Harvey Norman, All Phones and JB HiFi only from November 4th. Pre-orders are open currently.
The G2 smartphone has a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display, 13-megapixel OIS camera and a unique rear button, rather than at the side as per most handsets. Running Android 4.2.2, G2 comes in black and white shades.
Optus are offering G2 on a $50 plan with a $5 handset fee, per month or $60 with no fee on its 4G Plus network, promising faster streaming and downloads.
No word if it will go to other telcos yet.
It will sell outright for RRP of 16GB $649 while 32GB version will cost $699. Dick Smith are already offering pre-order G2 32GB unlocked model for $657.
The first 10,000 customers who purchase G2 will get a free Quick Window flip cover.
LG also says its has upped the ante from the original Optimus G phone, with a bunch of new users tools.

The news comes as Optus unveiled its first curved phone, the G Flex yesterday.
