NASDAQ-listed screen protector manufacturer, ZAGG, has released its InvisibleShield On Demand (ISoD) retail service in Australia, available at selected Optus, Harvey Norman, Mo’s Mobiles and Omni Tech outlets.
Rolling out to over 350 locations this year, the in-store service allows retailers to cut and apply screen protection films for “virtually any device” – from smartwatches to large screen laptops.
“With cuts available for more than 4,000 devices, including smartphones, tablets, wearables and laptops, ISoD will significantly increase sales opportunities for our retail partners,” asserts Lars Grip, VP of Sales, APAC, ZAGG International.
The service allows retailers to produce screen protectors for devices on the day of launch, reducing customer disappointment over insufficient accessory stock.
Protectors for niche brands will also be more readily available – e.g. Huawei, Motorola and LG.
The cloud-based solution also claims to help retailers optimise inventory levels, by cutting screen protectors on demand.
“Having the ability to cut nearly any screen protector to accompany any device with InvisibleShield On Demand is a huge help in delivering on our customer experience goals as a business, but also a significant contributor to our accessory sales,” affirms Mo’s Mobiles General Manager, James Walkley.
InvisibleShield screen protectors are among industry market leaders, with over 165 million protectors sold worldwide.
Based in the United States, the protectors are engineered to provide lifetime protection against scratched screens using military-grade solutions.
Whilst best known for its screen protection portfolio, parent-company ZAGG also owns several other tech accessory brands including mophie, Gear4 and BRAVEN.
