After a botched initial launch of their new UK Premier League Service Optus has come back into the market with a free offer that will please many soccer followers while also boosting Fetch TV subscriptions.

from today, customers who sign up to selected plans and subscribe to the Premier League by 31 July 2016 will get access to the upcoming Premier League season for free. * Mobile plans start from $30 per month (min cost $360 over 12 months).

Premier League subscriptions go on sale today, are available on a range of post-paid, SIM-only, mobile broadband, and home broadband plans.

Ben White, Managing Director of Marketing and Product at Optus said, “Optus has a track record of offering customers great value plans, packed with data and generous call inclusions, at affordable prices.”

“Today, we’re shaking up the market even more by offering our customers more of the content they love. From data free prepaid music streaming, to the Premier League, Optus is changing people’s expectations of their telco provider.”

“To celebrate our first Premier League season, we’re making it more affordable than ever by giving customers their first season for free on a range of plans from as little as $30 a month,” Mr White said.

Already with Optus?

Existing Optus customers can get the 2016/17 Optus Premier League for free on a range of eligible post-paid mobile, mobile broadband and home broadband plans.

Simply go online at www.optus.com.au/epl to check the eligibility of your service and order your Optus Premier League subscription from today.

Can’t get Optus broadband? We’ve got you covered

Fans living in areas where Optus is unable to provide a broadband service won’t miss out on all the heart-stopping action. Customers can simply add a Yes TV by Fetch Mini device (available in July), to an eligible mobile plan, for just an extra $5 per month, and use it to bring all the action to their big screen by connecting over any Australian fixed broadband network.

“We understand that some customers either can’t or don’t want to change their broadband providers, but still want the Premier League. The mini device is a great alternative because it works on any fixed internet service in Australia and gives fans access to the Premier League live and on demand via the big screen,” Mr White said.

Optus will also offer a satellite service for customers who may not otherwise get the best Premier League streaming experience. More details will be made available on our website in July.
