Optus has begun marketing two new tablets: Dell’s Streak 7 and Acer’s Iconia A501.
The seven-inch Dell Streak, pictured, has an Nvidia Tegra T20 dual-core processor, runs Android Honeycomb 3.2, and has 16GB internal memory. It will be available for zero upfront on a $29 24-month plan.
The Iconia sports a 10.1-inch screen, Android 3.2, a Tegra 2 processor and a 3G HSPA+ module claimed to deliver up to 21Mbps downloads. It will go for zero upfront on a $39 24-month plan.
Unlike No. 1 rival Telstra, Optus does not currently offer Apple’s iPad.
