Australian battery technology company Nano-Nouvelle has developed nanotechnology claimed to boost the energy storage capacity of lithium ion batteries by as much as 50 percent.
Nano-Nouvelle says it has produced a 3D nano-porous conductive membrane that can substantially increase the energy storage capacity and charging speed of lithium ion batteries.
The Queensland-based company is said to be working with major battery manufacturers in Japan, Korea, China, Europe, the US and Israel, to integrate its technology with their manufacturing processes and cell designs.
