Miele has launched Australia’s first 10-star energy rated dryer, promising to cost consumers only $134.89 a year in power use.
The Miele TCE 630 WP Heat Pump Dryer is available online and from Miele Experience Centres, and Miele Authorised Retailers nationally for $2,499.
Featuring Miele’s EcoDry technology, the TCE 630 is designed to deliver consistent energy consumption throughout the lifetime of the product.
According to an average electricity cost of 28.7 c/kWh, the Miele TCE 630 WP will consume a total of $134.89 per year, compared with a cost of $419.02 for a Miele 2 Star TDA 150 C condenser dryer.
User-convenience has been pushed to the forefront of this model, with a 7-segment display and direct sensor controls for ease-of-use.
Each of the adjustable settings has been illuminated, with plenty of features to make it easier to fit in the daily chore in your life.
A total of 12 drying functions have been programmed in, covering cotton, delicates and woollens.
Assisted with both a powerful and economic ProfiEco motor, Miele claims it is maintenance-free.
The TCE 630 boasts a Honeycomb drum for gentle and even drying process, with a pre-ironing feature for fewer creases.
It also lights up when the door is opened to ensure socks never get lost again.
Mineral sensors have even been included as part of Miele’s Perfect Dry technology which calculates residual moisture to prevent over or under drying of garments.
For that extra touch of cleanliness, Miele also offers their FragranceDos flacons which distribute a gentle fragrance evenly onto laundry during the drying process.
