While the Flip MinoHD (8GB) is going to be a new product in Australia, it has been around in the US since October of last year. The Flip MinoHD can record up to 120 minutes of video, can directly upload videos directly to Facebook; has a larger LCD screen; and sports a new rounded design with a brushed metal finishing.
It also comes with the latest version of FlipShare software, the advanced on-board software platform that allows users to plug the Flip’s signature flip-out USB into any computer to easily organise, and edit their videos. FlipShare also lets users share their videos by quickly and easily uploading directly to YouTube, MySpace and Facebook, and by sending via email.
Managing Director of Cisco Consumer Products ANZ, Todd Lynton said, “Flip Video has changed the video camera market and made shooting and sharing videos easier than ever before. Flip has been a huge hit in Australia and the next generation Flip MinoHD lets users shoot twice as much video, enjoy a bigger screen, and even upload their videos directly to Facebook with the latest version of FlipShare.”
The Flip MinoHD is now available in leading consumer electronics retailers with a RRP of $299.95.
No word yet as to when the SlideHD will be launched in Australia.
