The DMC-GF3 Micro Four Thirds camera is one of the flagship Lumix models that’ll be on display, being Panasonic’s lightest interchangeable lens camera to date. It’s much like last year’s GF2, but with a lighter chasse, improved autofocus and a new design on the back of a few stripped physical features.
There is also set to be a range of 3D camcorders and four new hand-sized multimedia cams on display, as well as new lenses for the interchangeable lens and DSLR crowd.
Panasonic has brought a couple of photographic endorsers to their side, with landscape photographer Ken Duncan and surf filmmaker Jack McCoy attending the event to give camera tutorials to revellers.
SmartHouse will be taking an early glimpse at the cameras before the weekend, so watch this space for the heads up on what’s on offer.
