Sounds good: Panasonic unleashed 4 X 3D Blu-ray Home Theatres with 3D Cinema Surround, Full HD playback, WiFi
Four Full HD 3D Blu-ray Home Theatres (SC-BTT 880, 480, 400 and 300), have been released in OZ with Full HD 3D playback, 3D Cinema Surround for “theatre-like surround sound” through real and virtual speakers.
The new systems which start at $449 for the BTT 300 boast the same sound as a movie theatre says Panasonic, who launched the sound machines in Adelaide last week.
Only the top end BTT880 (RRP $799) pictured, has inbuilt WiFi (others need wireless LAN adaptor), but all have HDMI capabilities, handy 2D-3D conversion and 1000W output power (RMS) except the BTT300.
WiFi capabilities give access to Panasonic’s VIERA Connect, VIERA Link for a slew of entertainment apps like Telstra Big Pond Movies, Quickflix, ABC iView, SBS ON DEMAND, YouTube, Facebook and Skype.
The new home theatres won’t get the jitters either Anti-Jitter Digital Amplifier which cuts distortion, and Panasonic’s Powerful Bass-reflex Subwoofer to produce purer sound.
Pana’s ‘Digital Tube Sound’ has six modes – pop, jazz, classic, and women’s vocal and rock genres.
Wi-Fi capabilities allows the Home Theatres to use content from smartphones, iPad, music players via DLNA and stream music and photos to their system.
