Panasonic has announced it will launch its first full HD plasma set next month.
The TH-65PV600A is not only capable of receiving the full spectrum of HD signals, including 1080p, it is also the largest Viera television ever, measuring in at 65 inches.
The panel offers HDMI connectivity through Viera link, which allows you to turn on the power for your whole home theatre setup with one remote control.
Other connectivity includes a PC input and an SD card slot. It will retail for $17,499.
The TH-65PV600A is the flagship of the new range of Viera plasma and LCD TVs, all of which will launch in October.
The new range will consist of 50-inch and 42-inch plasma TVs, and 32-inch and 26-inch LCDs. All models will feature integrated HD digital TV tuners.
