Panasonic have announced the next entry in their ‘Toughbook’ series of ultra-durable 2-in-1 tablets, the Panasonic CF-33.
Marc Amelung, Panasonic Australia’s General Manager for Mobile Solutions says that “the CF-33 has been purpose-built through customer feedback across the most demanding industries to provide the very latest in rugged all-weather design and powerful processing technology.”
The CF-33 boasts a 12-inch 10-finger capacitive dual touch QuadHD display, Intel i5-7300U processor, 8GB of RAM (which can be bumped up to 16GB) and 256GB SSD (which swapped out for 128GB and 512GB).
Compared to the previous year’s offering, the CF-31, the new product is 37% thinner and 26% lighter.
He says that “[Panasonic] pride ourselves on providing businesses with unparalleled rugged mobile solutions to improve productivity and, ultimately, save them money.”
“The Toughbook CF-33 can be taken anywhere the mission goes, whether it is in-vehicle, out in the field or at HQ.”
The Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 will be available from August 2017, via Panasonic Toughbook distributors and resellers, priced at an Australian RRP of $6499.
