Panasonic’s appliance business has added two new convection inverter microwaves to its portfolio, models which the company claims will bake vegetables and brown a chicken.
Both models feature microwave, convection, combination and grilling features, including a grill heater.
With convection cooking, air is circulated evenly around the food for “uniform results”, while when the microwave is in inverter mode the user has greater control over the temperature of their meal, says Panasonic.
“Our new Convection Microwaves complement traditional oven cooking,” said Panasonic product manager – microwaves, Sophie Barton.
Both models feature a ceramic turntable which is easy to clean, according to the company.
The models are as follows:
NN-CD997S 42L Stainless Steel Convection Microwave — RRP $989
NN-CD987W 42L White Convection Microwave – RRP $879
