Photographers who want to get their works exhibited in a Sydney gallery next month should start uploading their best Lumix photos at the Lumix Life website.

Every entry for the exhibition will be viewed and considered by the Lumix Life judging panel. The panel will consider three criteria when reviewing exhibition submissions: 1) Artistic merit of the exhibition as a whole; 2) Technical competency of photographs, and 3) Quality of individual images.
Successful exhibitors will receive a notification detailing the timing of the show.
The Lumix Life collection has received over 700 images submitted just in the first two weeks of the call for entries, with a diverse range of themes – encompassing street life, wildlife, travel adventures and amazing macro shots.
Panasonic Australia Marketing Communications Executive, Matthew Mannall, has been delighted with both the volume and quality of the response.
“The images showcased on the Lumix Life online gallery are truly impressive, demonstrating both the passion for photography and the creative flair shared by the global LUMIX community. But most of all, it’s great to see life’s diversity and vibrancy celebrated through photographic stories – which is what Lumix Life is all about. I’m looking forward to seeing the photographs on the big screen when they go on show in September.”
The first of the Lumix Life exhibitions will open to the public in the Global Gallery on September 15 and Lumix Life will run until October 10.
A new exhibition, featuring a collection of 10 images will be hosted every few hours during the gallery’s opening hours. Each exhibition will be displayed on a Panasonic Full High Definition Commercial Plasma Display Panel, to ensure the images are magnificently presented.
In addition to the judging panel there is also a People’s Choice award where anyone can visit the ‘LUMIX Life’ website and vote for their favourite images.
