Panasonic is adding three new premium French Door refrigerators to its appliances line up.
The NR-CY54B French Door refrigerators features a 547-litre capacity and will be available in black, silver (stainless steel), or white with a full-flat seamless glass panel and an electrostatic touch control panel on the front.
Along with incorporating an attractive and functional design, Panasonic said the new fridges have also been developed with food freshness and smart energy management in mind.
“Today, the fridge is the heart of the kitchen. Modern, open plan design, plus a focus on healthy living, means your appliances have to look good and store good food for you,” said Panasonic’s product marketing manager of whitegoods Chasnyn Ousmand.
Ousmand highlighted the ‘Prime Fresh’ technology of the new fridges, which helps to maintain the flavour, texture and nutrients of food through light freezing, along with the airtight ‘Fresh Safe’ vegetable case which keeps humidity at up to 90%.
“Keeping food fresh and making it last longer is important for both taste and reducing waste. Our ‘Prime Fresh’ technology lightly freezes food, extending life and keeping flavour and making it easy to prepare; while ‘Fresh Safe’ keeps fruit and veggies juicy and delicious and stops them spoiling prematurely,” Ousmand said.
ECONAVI technology of the new fridges help to reduce energy usage by monitoring the lighting and temperature of the area around the fridge, when and how often the fridge is open, and the fridge’s internal temperature to ensure it is operating efficiently and maintain cooling.
The NR-CY54B French Door refrigerators will be available at selected retailers from late August for RRP $2,499. More information can be found on the Panasonic website.
