Panasonic Wings BTS And Foldable Headphones Launching In Oz

The headphones sport 3D-Flex Sports Clips ear hook loops, made from flexible material that can be bent into the desired shape, while “a flat cable is used, which fits comfortably behind the ears, dramatically reducing touch noise and delivering clear, crisp, dynamic sound”.

Quick Charge via a supplied USB cable delivers 70 minutes of use from a 15-minute battery charge, while a

full charging provides up to six hours of playback.

The BTS50 is equipped with 12 mm drivers and the BTS30 9 mm drivers, supporting aptX and AAC, while Blue Edge LEDs on the edge sections of the BTS50 “add style and visibility when worn at night”.

The BTS50 is water resistant, decked out with an IPX5-rated rugged, waterproof shield, and can be washed with water to remove sweat and dirt, with the BTS30 also water resistant with an IPX4 rating.

The BTS50 is available in white and black, and the BTS30 white, black, yellow and red.

Meanwhile, Panasonic’s foldable headphones have a three-way foldable design, providing for space-saving storage.

“All models include a neodymium magnet to enhance audio quality,” Panasonic states. “The sleek RP-HF500

model features a hairline aluminium finish, 40 mm driver units for powerful sound, as well as a flat sound-enhancing cable; while the casually styled RP-HF300 and RP-HF100 deliver crisp and clear sound at home or on the go with a 30 mm drive unit.

“The headphones’ light weight makes them ideal for outdoor use, and the flexible swivel design folds to fit the size and shape of your bag. They are comfortable to wear for extended use with soft ear-pads.”

Selected models also have a microphone on the cord (the “M” models in the table below), supporting smartphone calls, with the headphones available in black, white, blue and red.
