Crammed with the latest technology and incorporating an array of exclusive, user-friendly features, the MKi series comes in three versions, the MKi9000, MKi9100 and MKi9200.
“Not that long ago, records, cassettes and CDs were the only music sources around, not including radios, and you could only listen to them by buying a specific piece of equipment,” says Parrot founder and CEO Henri Seydoux. “People want to be able to listen to their music whenever and wherever they are, and that’s exactly what the Parrot MKi range does, turning any storage device into a music player.”
Users can access their music by connecting the kit to any Bluetooth stereo (A2DP) source, such as an MP3 player, music mobile phone, smartphone and PDA.
All Parrot MKi kits feature a wireless multi-function RF remote control, which can be placed on the dashboard or steering wheel column for easy access to all the kit’s music and telephone functions without needing to take your eyes off the road.
The Parrot MKi system also includes sophisticated voice recognition and speech synthesis functions, with the system able to recognise the contact’s name and automatically dial the corresponding number.
Users can navigate through the list of contacts and explore the phonebook using the speech synthesis feature (Text-to-Speech): the kit reads out the name of the contacts.
The Parrot MKi system can easily be fitted in all types of vehicles and is compatible with all Bluetooth phones and devices on the market.
