Gamers are complaining in some forums about crashes, the game freezing when trying to connect to the Internet, and some minor graphic issues.

Game manufacturer Rockstar has issued what it believes are some solutions including installing the latest Vista or XP service pack, signing out of Rockstar Social Club, defragging your hard drive, installing .net Framework 3.5 (and making sure you’ve got 1.1 already on there) and using Beta drivers for nVIDIA 7900 cards. Apparently ATI card owners aren’t getting any better results.

On a recent GTAForums thread, of the people who own Grand Theft Auto IV on PC, 24 per cent said the game ran fine, 56 per cent said they can run the game, but with plenty of bugs, while 20 per cent couldn’t get the game to run at all.
