As LG announces a new TV design, Philips is also introducing newly styled HD LCD TVs with a glossy black finish and matching swivel stand.
The two new LCDs include a 32-inch and a 42-inch model with a resolution of 1366x768p, and feature integrated high definition digital tuners.
“As HDTV signals become more and more prevalent in Australia, Philips believes there is an increased need for a wide range of LCD TV products with integrated digital tuners,” said Philips’ Muir Keir.
“The 32PFL7532D and 42PFL7532D meet this need while maintaining Philips’ key proprietary advancements in picture enhancement including Pixel Plus 2 HD and Digital Natural Motion as well as incorporating a sleek black design,” he said.
In terms of connectivity the TVs feature dual HDMIs as well as a USB for plug and play photo viewing. Philips says the TVs consume less than 1W of power in standby, and feature a claimed contrast ratio of 7500:1
