Early arrivers at CES 2012 Convention Centre in Las Vegas, which kicks off tomorrow, have sighted monster teaser posters depicting the new Galaxy superphone – a cross between a tablet and a smartphone – sprinkled around the area that is set to showcase the latest tech innovations over the next week.

First debuted at IFA 2011 Berlin last winter on Gingerbread 2.3, the wafer thin 5.3-inch Note, with its super powerful formula of 1.4GHz dual-core processor, Super AMOLED WXGA resolution (1280×800) display looks set to be the crowd stealer at CES considering the popularity of Samsung’s other Galaxy’s, which catapulted the brand to the No.1 phone maker, beating even rivals Apple last year.

The Note also sports an 8MP LED flash camera, a 2MP camera at the rear, full HD video recording, and an “advanced” stylus called the S Pen – one of the first in the smartphone arena, in recent times.
But best of all, the smartphone/tab is also tipped to be served up with Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for its US debut, meaning better functionality (What a treat).
Samsung have yet to officially confirm the appearance of the hybrid device tipped to give Apple’s iPhone 4S, as well as Motorola’s Droid and HTC’s Sensation XL superphones a serious run for their money, although the CES posters peak for themselves.
