The minimalist design and sound quality from the HTP-LX70 is achieved using Pioneer’s Dodec speaker technology, offering a realistic 3-dimensional sound.
By incorporating the dodecahedron speaker concept (a dodecahedron is a geometric shape with 12 sides), the speakers deliver an ‘Omni-directional’ sound – the effect being similar to musical instruments being played in a live performance.
The compact satellite speakers are beneficial in instances where there is limited space, or for those that don’t want a ‘hardware invasion’ in the living room.
Featuring a down-firing subwoofer offering dual-drive subs, users will feel every explosion as if they were sitting in a professional movie cinema.
Whilst being partnered to Blu-ray, the versatile HTP-LX70 also enables users to entertain guests with an iPod by transforming into an iPod docking station thanks to the iPod input, as well as the choice of an additional Pioneer iPod docking station.
The HTP-LX70 has a large, easy-to-use LCD touch-screen remote control, giving quick and direct access to all the functions.
Utilising Advanced MCACC, Pioneer’s HTP-LX70 allows the creation of the ideal acoustic environment with ease. The Advanced MCACC applies ‘Time Axis’ in measuring the listening environment’s acoustic characteristics and in applying frequency response compensation. This results in a more precise adjustment of frequency response for human ears.
