As a rival to Apple’s AirPods, Google’s newest wireless headphones – the A$249 Pixel Buds – feature strong software integration, including the ability to translate 40 different languages in real time.
The headphones will go on sale in November, inclusive of a charging case. Battery life is said to be around five hours, though the charging case is capable of holding numerous full charges.
Demoed during Google’s unveiling event, two different employees were able to talk to each other in Google and Swedish, and the Pixel Buds headphones were able to translate each other’s language in real time.
Users will not require a Pixel phone to access the language feature of the Pixel Puds – an Android phone with Google Assistant is compatible.
Google’s new Pixel Buds are Bluetooth headphones and will support any devices which utilise Bluetooth connectivity.
Google’s new Pixel Buds come in either; ‘Kinda Blue’, ‘Clearly White’ and ‘Just Black’.
