Plantronics has added a couple of new wireless and corded gaming headsets for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The company has launched the the GameCom X95 Wireless Stereo headset and GameCom X40 Stereo headset for the Xbox 360 users, as well as the GameCom P90 Bluetooth headset for the PlayStation 3.
According to the company, the Plantronics GameCom X95 is a wireless gaming headset that delivers full stereo sound from 40mm speakers. It sports a closed-ear design and offers on-ear controls for changing volume and audio levels. It also comes with a concealable microphone that tucks into the headband and claims to last for more than 20 hours (uses AAA batteries).
The new Plantronics GameCom X40 is a corded headset that features the same 40mm speakers as the GameCom X95. It comes with separate volume and audio control buttons on the ear pods and has a ‘specially designed’ cushioned earpods and headband. The company has also refreshed its GameCom X30 and GameCom X10 corded headsets for the Xbox 360.
The GameCom P90 Bluetooth headset is compatible with the PlayStation 3 but can also be used as a wireless headset. It features QuickPair technology for easy pairing to the PlayStation 3, and includes dedicated mute volume and on/off buttons for convenience. It includes a USB charging cable that connects to the PlayStation 3 system.
