Sony has announced the two games added to the PS4’s PlayStation Plus library this month.
The two games are Shadow of the Colossus and Sonic Forces.
Shadow of the Colossus is “a breathtaking journey through ancient lands to seek out gigantic beasts. Armed with only a sword and a bow, [players] explore the spacious lands and unearth each Colossus, presenting a unique challenge to test [their] wits, determination, and skill.” The PS4 version is a complete remake of the 2005 PlayStation 2 game and was first released in February 2018.
In Sonic Forces “the evil Dr. Eggman has conquered much of the world with help from a powerful and mysterious new villain named Infinite. Now, [players] must assist Sonic and build an army to reclaim the world as they fight against chaos and destruction.” It’s a mix of classic 2D Sonic platformer and more modern 3D gameplay, and was first released in 2017.
Both games are free to download and play for PlayStation Plus subscribers. PS Plus membership costs AU$79.95 per year.
In other regions, Sony also updated its PlayStation Now library with eleven new titles, including Control, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. PS Now is Sony’s game streaming service and has yet to launch in Australia despite recent teases to the contrary.
