
Sony Australia has released a new PlayStation VR Mega Pack that contains version 2.0 of their VR headset, the PlayStation 3D VR camera, plus five games all for $469.95.
The PlayStation VR is the latest member of the PS4 family and is compatible with all versions of PS4, simply connect the headset to a PS4 console, add the camera, and “leave reality behind.”
The 3D VR camera was not included in the original launch of the headset and features dual lenses and 3D depth sensors that track the position of the headset, PlayStation Move controller and DUALSHOCK 4 light bar, ensuring the user is at the centre of their VR gaming experience.
The VR headset visual apparatus includes a 5.7-inch OLED screen that displays 360-degree vision at 120 frames per second for smooth visuals.
The VR headset has cutting-edge 3D audio that enables a more immersive experience that allows users to accurately perceive the direction and distance of sounds that are coming from above, below and all around in the VR world.
Additionally, users can chat online with other gamers, discussing tactics and making plans using the immersive 3D audio and built-in microphone.
The five games included in this bundle is the recently released ASTRO BOT Rescue Mission, WipEout Omega Collection, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, DOOM VFR, and PlayStation VR Worlds.
