Officeworks to open its historic 150th store in Bayswater, North Victoria
And the retailer is calling in Dora the Explorer, MRK and AFL stars for the occasion.
The Wesfarmers-owned company has lined up a slew of celebs for the opening of its new Bayswater store in Victoria including: Collingwood players Scott Pendlebury and Travis Cloke, along with Victorian My Kitchen Rules (MKR) contestants ‘Smiley Sam’ and Chris, who will partake in a BBQ cook-off.
Even Dora the Explorer and Ollie Bear – his first ever public appearance – will pay a visit to entertain the kids and family activities celebrate the new Officewworks opening this Saturday, 22 June.
The 1700sqm store will stock over 9,000 different products, plus has ‘state-of-the-art’ print and copy facilities. There’s also a Bunnings Warehouse located nearby.
Officeworks invested $5.2 million in development at Baywater and $1.4 million in wages in the first year.
It also recently opened stores in ANZ tower, Sydney CBD and Caroline Springs, Victoria.
