Blackberry is teaming up with Porsche to produce a limited edition 9980 Bold, according to Ubergizmo.
The silver Blackberry dons the classic QWERTY keyboard form factor, but has undergone some styling changes, with chiselled keys and sharp corners. The 9980 has a befitting codename, being referred to as the BlackBerry Knight as its keys resemble chinks in armour.
It’s believed this particular model will be branded after German sports car company Porsche. Typically car branded products are an optional extra for car owners, so we expect to see the Blackberry 9980 sitting alongside the bespoke keys of a 911 owner. Not much else is known about the 9980, but we do expect it to operate on BB’s latest OS, BlackBerry OS 7.
