Huawei’s first wearable has hit OzBilled as a ‘talk and track’ device, TalkBand B1, has a 1.4-inch flexible OLED display and works with any Android/Apple mobile and lets you take calls through a wireless earpiece via Bluetooth 4.1
Huawei’s first fitness band will display time and caller/number display and supports newer Android 4.0+ and iOS 5.0+ devices.
The 9.4g earpiece sits within the band and is removable.
The TalkBand tracks the users’ daily activities, including steps taken, distance covered, calories burned and monitors sleep. You can also customise the smart alarm function.

The NFC pairing feature enables TalkBand B1 to connect with devices and vibrates if more than 10 meters away from the synced device.
It weighs 26g and is 14.6mm wide, made of hypo-allergenic, sweat-resistant and anti-UV materials to prevent discoloration, and is IP 57 rated water and dust resistant.
The 90 mAh battery lasts six days without the need to recharge and takes only two hours to fully charge using the USB connector.
TalkBand B1 is available in three colours: true black, graphite grey and curacao blue at RRP of A$179 at Dick Smith only (in store and online).
However, the fitness band is likely to be bundled with Hauwei’s brand new Ascend P7 smartphone on a plan, in the near future.
