The Sagem my501C is the latest clamshell mobile phone from French manufacturer Safran – who says it is the ideal compromise between high-tech and high-fashion.
Safran claims its streamlined chrome setting, compact and lightweight size make it “the perfect accessory to slip into a tsubi-clad pocket.”
In terms of features it offers a 1.3 megapixel camera and video recorder with 8x digital zoom, MP3 player and stereo headset, as well 32 MB embedded memory with a microSDTM card reader for expandable memory.
The phone is also capable of sending and receiving MMS and is WAP 2.0 enabled Connectivity includes Bluetooth and SyncMLTM.
The company promises 250 hours on standby and 3.5 hours talk-time with a single charge.
“The design of the phone combined with advanced technology has proven to be an instant hit among trend-setting Europeans, we anticipate the popularity of the SAGEM my501C in the style-savvy Australian market as well,” said Sagem’s Francois Romanet.
An additional range of accessories including a Bluetooth headset, car kit, stereo headset, software, mini USB cable, and a microSD CARD are also available.
