Samsung has announced in a US-specific press release that the Galaxy Book 2 is on its way priced at US$999 with no official announcement of whether or not we shall see it in Australia.
According to the release, Book 2 will be an always on and always connected PC that “gives you the power to stay ahead of the game in a world that never slows down”.
Much like the previous Galaxy Book tablet, the Galaxy Book 2 has a Windows 10 OS and has LTE built-in, so you’re always connected with ready-to-go connectivity when you’re away from WiFi.
It is running on the Snapdragon 850 processor, with a “multi-workday battery life” which translates to about 20 hours of work time with the ability to recharge quickly thanks to its Adaptive Fast charging.
It comes with an included keyboard with doubles as a screen cover, and the S Pen, which doesn’t need to be charged and can be used to take notes, mark up documents, and even translate phrases.
The Galaxy Book 2 is currently listed at US$999 and is available from November 2, with no official word on whether we’ll see it in Australia.
