Incorporating its patented ‘Acoustic Beam technology’, Samsung states the N650 is specifically designed to offer “virtual surround sound”.

A panoramic sound experience is provided courtesy of dynamic sound rendering. This is said to be further enhanced by two pipes at the back of the soundbar, and a tweeter on each end.

Recognising the growth of gaming in home entertainment, the N650 features a dedicated “Game Mode”, with specialised optimised sounds. Game EQ is immediately triggered when a gaming device is connected to a Samsung TV.

The device offers Bluetooth control and support with Samsung’s universal One Remote Control.

Speaking to ChannelNews Samsung VP Audio R&D, Allan Devantier, praises Samsung’s success in the Australian audio market, revealing it will also release an upgrade to its top-end K950 soundbar later this year.

Samsung’s new “slim and sleek” NW700 Sound+ soundbar is specifically designed for wall-mounting underneath “super thin” TVs.

Measuring 53.5mm wide, the NW700 Sound+ claims to be 41% slimmer than its predecessor.

The product features a built inn sub-woofer for a “powerful bass” despite its small size.

Samsung VP Audio R&D, Allan Devantier, affirms the device utilises its placement on a wall to leverage and increase its bass capabilities.

The device incorporates multi-speaker control technology to synch its drivers and produce “clear and powerful sound”. Distortion cancelling technology claims to further enhance sounds.
