Samsung, is believed to be working on a detachable Chromebook that could be revealed at CES 2018, in Las Vegas January 2018.

The new Chromebook design has been compared to the previous Samsung Galaxy Book which runs on Windows 10.

This book is a detachable 2-in-1 with Intel Kaby Lake Chips, removable keyboard, and a Samsung S Pen stylus.

The device is tipped to be released with a variety of configurations including Core m3 or i5, 256GB of storage space, and 10.6” or 12” displays. The #1 brand in this market is Acer who have recently won several major contracts with Australian education departments.

The previous Samsung Chromebook Pro and Chromebook Plus was unveiled at CES 2017 and while the new one is tipped for CES 2018 some doubt it as the development of the new offering has only just commenced.
